Production Tooling
Whether you’re prototyping, producing, or mass producing, tooling is one of the most important steps in setting up your manufacturing operation. Tooling is simply the process by which manufacturers obtain the components their machines need in order to operate and produce their desired end product. The ways that tooling impacts a manufacturing operation are numerous and far-reaching. Not only is the tooling of your own manufacturing important, but also of the tools themselves that will be a part of your own operation and/or your own asset. It’s necessary to have components that have been tooled to specifications, have high quality, and will perform under stress.
After the design finalization process, production toolings have to be made for mass prodcution of the product.
Production toolings can refer to different kinds of toolings for different product parts that are made of different materials, for example toolings for stainless steel part, plastic part, rubber part, etc.
The long term consequences of tooling for manufacturing operations demands that your tooling is done correctly and efficiently. When an operation is improperly tooled, it will lose money through a variety of avenues. Production toolings have to be built to withstand the rigorous demands of mass production while maintaining tight dimensional tolerances on every finished part.
To do this successfully, tooling manufacturers must bring together the finest raw materials, advanced software, sophisticated tool design, and precision machining in order to build a production tool that can be cycled millions of times without degrading. Moreover, it has to be done with minimum material and expenditure.
We assist cutomer to select qualified tooling manufacturer if needed and will be there to oversee, monitor and inspect every process of the tooling manufacturing. We double or triple check the sample specs and details to confirm if the toolings are done properly as per customer's requirements.
We make sure all the toolings are checked and recorded properly, and provide a very clear tooling list for customer's record/reference where each tooling will has its own marking/numbering for identification.
